Nepal

More problems with these computers and camera cards, I'll try to download more when we get to Thailand.

Nepal was great! The bikes are well and we didn't have any problems from troublesome kids. We spent a few days in Kahtmandu trying to sort out our affairs with the Indian Embassy, but ended up not getting our visa so we've changed our plans.

We spent the last week cycling our way down to Chitwan National Park where we saw elephants, rhinos, birds and a few monkeys. After that we headed over to Pokhara where there was a serene lake and the amazing Annapurna mountain range. We're off to Bangkok tomorrow and I'll try my luck with the computers there.

The top photo is of a couple of Germans we met and spent a few days with. They were great guys to hang out with and we had a few good nights at the local disco. The next picture down is of a local Nepalese woman who I've decided to adopt as my second wife. She can carry 60lbs of gear on her forehead, smokes like a chimney and has skin as thick as a rhino's. Don't worry we've talked it over and Julia is totally cool with it.....wait a minute.....the last time she said she was "cool" about things I got in major trouble over some "list".......maybe a second wife is not a good idea after all.
